DISHMAN HILLS CONSERVANCY
The walk will time travel across mind-bending billions of years – take a sweep across plate-tectonics, volcanoes, ice-age flooding, and much more. Michael will show us how to “read “ the fascinating story of why the Dishman Hills, and our region in general, is so special, just by observing the rocks and land forms around us.
This walk will be approximately 3 miles of easy hiking at a leisurely pace. Bring water, clothing for the weather and hiking shoes. Please meet at Camp Caro lower parking lot (off of Appleway at Sargent Rd.) at 1p.m. Note the upper parking lot and bathrooms are closed.
