Hike to Big Rock from Stevens Creek Trailhead It's looking like a nice day for Saturday's hike. Start the 50th year with a guided hike up beautiful Stevens Creek to the iconic Big Rock and Rocks of Sharon in the Dishman Hills. The hike is moderately steep up to the ridge with spectacular views of the Palouse. The roundtrip hike will go about 3 miles at a moderate pace. A longer option is available for those who want to explore further. Meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot at the Stevens Creek Trailhead. Directions: From 57th and the Palouse Highway head south about six miles and turn left on Stevens Creek Road. The turn off of the Palouse Highway is signed. Go 1.8 miles on Stevens Creek Road - be sure to stay right at the fork. Dress for the weather, bring a hearty snack and 1 liter of water. Hike is free, but please register at link below so we know how many are coming.
