Butterfly Walk in the Dishman Hills with John Baumann. We will meet at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S Schafer Road at 8:30 am. John will present a slideshow to help you identify butterflies we will see. We will also discuss Tom Rogers work on butterflies in the Dishman Hills and how habitat changes and migration have affected the type of butterflies we find in Spokane today. The field trip will start at the Iller Creek Trailhead (9001 E Holman Road) about 9:30 am. The walk not be strenuous with a slow pace as we look for butterflies

Bring a collection net and/or jars if you have one. We will have a few to borrow.
