DISHMAN HILLS CONSERVANCY
Eagle Peak Hike
Sat. March 11, 9 a.m.
Come hike with a guide to the great views of the surrounding area. We promise you won't get lost! This is a moderately strenuous 4 mile hike in the northernmost area of the Dishman Hills. Hopefully we will get our first glimpses of early spring wildflowers. The view from Eagle Peak shows the possible connection to the south conservation units known as Glenrose and Iller Creek.
This is a moderately difficult hike on rough trails. The trails may be muddy or even icy in places this early in the Spring,so wear boots or shoes appropriate for uneven terrain. Weather can be iffy, so bring layers of clothing to stay warm and dry.
We will depart from Camp Caro at 9a.m.. Please park in the lower lot by Appleway and wait for the group to assemble. Bring water and snacks The hike is free, but we request you to sign up on our website so we know how many to expect.
