DISHMAN HILLS CONSERVANCY
Rocks of Sharon Nature Hike- Rich Leon:
This is a nature walk led by naturalist Rich Leon. We start from Iller Creek and walk up the cool Iller Creek drainage from the Spokane Valley to the Rocks of Sharon with stunning views of the Palouse. Join us for this 5.5 mile 1500 ' elevation gain loop hike as we explore this memorable landscape. The hike will culminate at the base of the rocks, providing views of the Palouse and Mt. Spokane. With such iconic and beautiful spots within sight, you will want to be sure to bring a camera with you to capture the views for memory.
Though the trail is well maintained, this is a strenuous walk. Good footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are essential. Bring water and lunch. If you are accompanied by your pet, please bring water for it as well as for yourself.
The hike is free, but registration is required at link below.
