Presentation to the Spokane Mountaineers

DISHMAN HILLS CONSERVANCY & SPOKANE COUNTY CONSERVATION FUTURES: Jeff Lambert is a long-time Mountaineer & Executive Director of the DHC will present the DHC 5-Year Conservation Plan.

He is joined by Paul Knowles of Spokane County's Conservation Futures Program - a very important partner with the DHC. Paul will describe the new Glenrose Trailhead and the Stevens Creek Trailhead improvements that include lights and cameras to improve security.

Jeff will present the five-year Conservation Plan for the Hills including a successful application for an $800,000 grant and the plan to add 1200 acres and three trailheads. We will have free maps!

There will be an opportunity to learn how you can get involved in trails and habitat work. This event is intended for club members and the public wishing to learn more about the Spokane Mountaineers and the Dishman Hills Conservancy.
