Walk to Big Rock

Sat. May 18, Stevens Creek Trailhead 9 a.m.

The walk will time travel across mind-bending billions of years – take a sweep across plate-tectonics, volcanoes, ice-age flooding, and much more. Jeff Lambert will tell the story of the Dishman Hills and provide a bit of geology as well.

This walk will be approximately 3 miles of moderately difficult hiking at a leisurely pace. Bring water, clothing for the weather and hiking shoes. Please meet at Stevens Creek Parking lot at 9 a.m.
