Art Show and Sale: Dishman Hills Paintings by LR Montgomery at Wilson Conservation Area

ART SHOW AND SALE of DISHMAN HILLS PAINTINGS by our Artist In Residence, LR MONTGOMERY

Saturday 10 am - 6 pm

Join LR Montgomery for a special art show featuring his original Dishman Hills Paintings. LR has been named as the Dishman Hills Artist in Residence because of his and his wife Carole's strong advocacy for Dishman Hills Conservancy and the Dishman Hills. He is often seen in the Hills painting the scenes we all love. LR will be there to swap stories about the Hills and life.

Gather with other DHC enthusiasts, enjoy light refreshments, take a self-guided tour or join staff and volunteers for the guided hike, and take home a piece of Dishman Hills in vivid colors to hang in your home and enjoy whatever the weather is outside. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of paintings benefit DHC. There is a great selection, and they sell fast. This is an opportunity to support a great cause and own a painting from one of Spokane's favorite artists.  

DHC's Director, Ruth Gifford, will be there to answer questions about Dishman Hills Conservancy's, its Mission to CONNECT AND PROTECT land from Appleway to the Palouse Hills, as well as our vision to create an education center at the Wilson Conservation Area.

This event is open all day but parking is limited.  Come early for best parking and selection of paintings. We recommend carpooling with friends and bringing a full car up to get the first view of these new LR Montgomery paintings!
