Hike to Eagle Peak

Hike with us to the aptly-named Eagle Peak in the Dishman Hills Natural Area with stunning views of the Spokane Valley. This is a moderately strenuous 4 mile hike in the northernmost area of the Dishman Hills. The view from Eagle Peak shows the possible connection to the south conservation units known as Glenrose and Iller Creek.

This is a moderately difficult hike on rough trails. The trails may be muddy or rocky in places, so wear boots or shoes appropriate for uneven terrain. Weather can be iffy,

If you are interested in joining us and Spokane Parks, visit the following link to register through Spokane Parks and Recreation: https://secure.rec1.com/WA/spokane-wa/catalog?filter=c2VhcmNoPTIwMjYwNTc

We will depart from Camp Caro at 8am. Please park & meet the group in the lower parking lot by Appleway. Bring water and a snack. Dogs are allowed on leash. The hike is free, but we request you to sign up on our website so we know how many to expect.

Questions? Feel free to contact our summer intern Rhea at rheajansen@dishmanhills.org.
