DISHMAN HILLS CONSERVANCY
Rocks of Sharon Hike: Take a beautiful fall hike to the Big Rock area for spectacular views of the Palouse. The hike will go about 3 miles at a moderate pace. A longer option is available for anyone who would like to explore further.
You will learn about how this area came into conservation for all to enjoy and the DHC plans for the future. The 1400-acres is owned either by Spokane County Conservation Futures (Iller Creek Conservation Area) or the Dishman Hills Conservancy (Rocks of Sharon).
This hike will meet in the parking lot at the Stevens Creek Trailhead. From 57th and the Palouse Highway head south about six miles and turn left on Stevens Creek Road. The turn off of the Palouse Highway is signed. Go 1.8 miles on Stevens Creek Road - be sure to stay right at the fork.
