GEOLOGY WALK:

1-4 p.m.
This walk and talk hike with local geologist Michael Hamilton will cover an easy 3 mile loop to take in the interesting geologic aspects of the lower Dishman Hills. Topics will include the great Glacial Floods of the Ice Age, plate tectonics, volcanoes, hydrology and all the forces of geology that shaped the hills. All your geo-questions will be answered!
The walking is over some sections with steep and rough trails. The distance is about 3 miles. Meet at Camp Caro 12:45 p.m.
