National Summit Day at the Rocks of Sharon

The Dishman Hills Conservancy, Mountain Gear, and Inland Northwest Hikers are hosting a National Summit Day celebration at the Big Rock Meadows adjoining the County-owned Iller Creek Unit of the Dishman Hills Conservation Area.

There will be one or more hikes starting from the Stevens Creek Trailhead at 10 am. Mountain Gear will be providing burgers at 12 noon in the newly acquired Big Rock Meadows. But you must register so that we have enough grub!

DHC will have plenty of information about our plans to add more land, trails and trailheads to the Dishman Hills. This acquisition is a spectacular addition - check it out.

The access is off of the Palouse Highway south of the South Hill or east from Valleyford. Go slow on Stevens Creek Road because it is a narrow gravel road with plenty of twisty sections.
