DISHMAN HILLS CONSERVANCY
Celebrating 60 Years (1966-2026)
Community Session
PLEASE NOTE: Attendance is by invite only due to limited parking space. We will hold these events periodically throughout the summer. If you would like to receive an invite to a future community session, please email sebel@dishmanhills.org
The purpose of this meeting is to continue the listening and learning sessions started earlier in June around the potential merger of DHC and Inland Northwest Land Conservancy. Read below for some updated information.
An update regarding the merger exploration process
Thank you to everyone who attended community meetings or shared insights in other ways. We are grateful for your thoughtful feedback, and your questions, ideas, and concerns are helping to shape this important conversation and process. You spoke and we heard you.
More time, information, and engagement are needed before determining whether a merged organization is the right path forward. We understand the significant investment of time, relationship building, and careful evaluation required when considering a prospective opportunity. For that reason, the community engagement phase of the merger exploration process will continue without a fixed timeline in order to create a space for further listening, reflection, and dialogue. Our members are the lifeblood of our organization, and your perspectives are important to our decision process. It is important that DHC and our community of friends and supporters has the time needed to consider questions raised during the engagement process about its interests, needs, and future.
If you would like to provide further feedback, please come to this or another community meeting or send Ruth an email at ed@dishmanhills.org.
Thank you for your ongoing involvement with Dishman Hills Conservancy.
